Golden Retrievers, ranked by the American Kennel Club as the 3rd most popular dog, are outgoing, trustworthy and eager -to-please family dogs and relatively easy to train. They have a joyous and playful approach to life and maintain this behavior into adulthood. These energetic, powerful gundogs enjoy outdoor play. For a breed built to retrieve waterfowl for hours on end, swimming and fetching are natural pastimes.
Our Goldens "LOVE" to swim and play fetch............and they are even happier when they get to do both at the same time. Since we have a pond literally right in our back yard there are some of the dogs that you will rarely, if ever, see a picture of them when they aren't wet. They love it so much and the temptation is just to great.
